About Us
Thistle and Lace
We are Jon and Ashley, and we are based in Clearwater, Florida. For 8 years, we have spent our time traveling and performing all over our beautiful country, meeting incredible people and seeing amazing sights.
We have had the privilege of performing at various fairs and festivals including MontanaFair, South Carolina State Fair, South Dakota State Fair, Western Idaho State Fair, Central Wisconsin State Fair, and more.
Jon is a music industry veteran, with more than 30 years experience, most notably being the founder and original member of Street Corner Symphony, from the NBC hit television show, “The Sing Off”. Jon has performed with Neil Diamond, Allison Krause, Ben Folds, Nicole Scherzinger, Nick Lachey, and Shawn Stockman.
Ashley is a musical theatre veteran, with 15 years experience under her belt, giving her outstanding showmanship and energy. Ashley prides herself on keeping the crowd engaged and happy, no matter the place!
Thistle and Lace Learning
Having creative children means having to come up with creative ways to help them learn. We have created fun and informative songs to help teach things like Times Tables, Grammar, Sentence Structure, and more! Our first Learning Album will start off with “The Times Tables” And will feature groovy, original songs for the 2’s, all the way to the 12’s.
